Surrender - #SkywatchFriday

For some reason, the weather pattern we have been in these past few weeks in upstate New York have led to some of the most beautiful sunsets.

These are sunsets from Wednesday, the day before the United States Thanksgiving celebration.
I came out of work, and the sunset was already in progress.
That one cloud made all the difference.
Orange, yellow, pink and purple danced in the sky.
Finally, the sunglow started to surrender to the coming night.

  4. Spectacular - there's nothing like evening (or morning) clouds lit up from beneath like this.

  5. The colors in the clouds are gorgeous, but I'm most impressed with how you captured the texture.

  7. Your pictures are so radiant! I walked in the woods today and noticed the sky and began taking pictures of it. As I got closer to my house, the colors changed and it was really quite spectacular. I'm glad that is something that we could share.
